Prepare the cookie dough by pinching the dough into little cubes or rolling them into little bite-size balls.
Store the cookie dough balls in the refrigerator while letting the ice cream soften.
Take the ice cream out of the freezer, and let it get a little softer so that the balls can be mixed in.
Mix the softened ice cream and cookie dough balls.
Return to the freezer so it can harden a bit before serving - or in our case here, serve immediately in a cone or as a milkshake by quickly blending in a blender.
